However, for many senior leaders, global growth brings a hidden logistical nightmare: revenue recognition and international banking. I have seen this pattern many times. A company operates out of the US or Australia but has entities around the world. They need to sell in local currencies, like Euros and, more importantly, they need that money banked in that specific country for local accounting and tax compliance. The problem is that most standard eCommerce platforms aren't actually built for global business, they’re built for global display.
