# The security breach that never happened

As leaders, we often start our journey on platforms that promise to get us up and running in minutes. But as we scale, a pattern emerges. You need a loyalty program, so you add an app. You need a shipping calculator, so you add another. Before you know it, you’re running 20 or 30 different plugins just to get the functionality your business actually needs to survive.
